Facing the Unknown
Prof Denis Noble, Emeritus Professor of Cardiovascular Physiology delivers an inspirational talk titled “Facing the Unknown”. He uses examples from the lives of some of history’s greatest thinkers, such as Leonardo da Vinci and Albert Einstein to show the importance of imagination and creativity. He also stresses the usefulness of creative arts including music, dance, poetry and art in helping to fire the imagination of young people. The speech was given at T-Talks in Jeonju, South Korea to an enthralled and receptive audience.
